Celebration of Dragon Boat Festival |
- Time 11:30 AM till 2:30 pm on June 7th, 2008
- Location: Plymouth Park, Shelter B (
please
note this year’s event is at Shelter B, on the other side of the park)
Fees: TCCA members: Free (if you have not paid the
2008 membership fee, please do so on site. $25/family, $15/single, and
$5/student). Guest: $5
What to bring: One dish enough for your family and
five other people. Anything you would like to play (basket ball,
volleyball, freebie, etc.)
A jumper castle will be placed on site. So kids,
have fun! (Safety first, parents please keep eyes on your kids, and tell
them to follow the instruction from the jump castle supervisor.)
We will distribute the 2008 Member directory to
those who has paid the 2008 membership due.
The Dragon Boat Festival event is open to the public to
increase the awareness of Sichuan Earthquake. If your American friends are
interested in the event, they are welcome to join us. We will have poster
presentation regarding the earthquake. It will be our first green ribbon
campaign, and donation box will be set up. Many members have donated
already, so this donation box is for those who have not had a chance to
contribute and want to contribute. Donations from kids are also very
welcome.
